The Red River Championship will be a trailering event both days.
This decision is based on most recent forecast and
potential debris in the River.
We urge all contestants to be extremely cautious and
keep boat speed to a minimum.

Boats may leave their launch area
anytime after 7:15 AM
First Cast - 7:30 AM
Last Cast - 3:00 PM
You must be in line with your fish at Bass Champs Trailer
by 5:00 PM
(Weigh in line closes at 5:00 PM)
If launching from Red River South Marina you may idle to channel and wait until 7:15 AM.
The channel where you enter the river is strictly
NO WAKE ZONE ALL WEEKEND.
All teams are required to stop by registration today (Friday) between 3-6 PM
to get boat numbers and any new information.
Any additional questions you may have will be answered at registration.

We have over 80 draw prizes to be awarded at registration.
Prizes include a Power Pole (early entry drawing),
ABU Garcia Rods & Reels, Amphibia Sunglasses, Pierce Coolers, and Berkley merchandise
will be on the back of the winning flight cards.
All teams must come by the registration site at Red River Marina between 3-6 PM on Friday October 9th.
Dinner will be provided at registration.
Due to Covid restrictions we will not be doing an actual meeting
ceremony but a catfish "to-go" dinner will be provided for anglers during registration.

We have made a few adjustments for this year's event.
The length limit on all fish will be 12 inches.
AOY teams will be boats 1-4 on day one, all other teams will draw
their boat #'s at registration and will go in reverse order on day 2.
Door prizes will be awarded at registration based on the boat number drawn.

The Red River is off-limits Monday, September 14th - Tuesday, October 6th
Official Practice Days are October 7th - 9th
(ONLY COMPETITORS ARE ALLOWED IN BOAT DURING OFFICIAL PRACTICE DAYS)
Competition days are October 10th-11th
Competition is limited to pools 3,4,& 5
Registration is from 3:00 - 6:00 PM on Friday, October 9th (at Red River Marina)
Entry fee is $320 per team
(James Wood Bonus free entry fee's and Junior Discounts
are not available for Championship)
FUEL RULE IN EFFECT:
Only factory type installed fuel
tanks are permitted for

event. No gas cans, containers, or
similar fuel storage may be

practice or competition days.

During the off limits period, official practice, and competition days, other than
using publicly-available information (e.g. newspaper and Internet reports)
competitors cannot solicit, receive, or gather any information via phone,
electronic devices, or any other means about locating or catching fish
on tournament waters from non-competitors. All information must be
accessed prior to official off limits periods
Fishing License:
A Louisiana license is required by all anglers
and may be purchased on the LAW&F web site:

* Anyone born after January 1st,
1984 must have completed a
“Free” Boating safety course,
which can be taken on line.
This is required of boat
operator only.

If you draw a lucky boat number you will receive your prize immediately. There are over 80 prizes.

Saturday, October 10th:

Take-off at safe light - 1st flight will be due in at 3:00 PM
Boat #'s will be provided during Friday night registration
(flights will be reversed on day 2)
Day 2 of competition
Sunday, October 11th:
Red River South Marina
Take-off at safe light - 1st flight will be due in at 3:00 PM
Awards & Check distribution approximately 4:30-5:00 PM
